ACPI
Advanced Configuration & Power Interface

The Advanced Configuration and Power Interface Specification, Revision 4.0 is now under development. The success and wide adoption of ACPI 4.0 requires industry consensus. The ACPI promoters need your participation to convey the configuration and power related requirements of your emerging products, to propose enhancements to the ACPI 3.0 specification for inclusion ACPI 4.0, and to provide feedback on draft versions of ACPI 4.0 prior to adoption. If you would like to provide input to the specification or to review specification drafts, you must become an ACPI 4.0 contributing adopter and you must also be an ACPI 3.0 adopter.

ACPI 4.0 Adopters Agreement and Contributors Addendum

To become an ACPI 4.0 specification contributing adopter, you must send two signed originals of both the ACPI 4.0 Adopters Agreement and the ACPI 4.0 Contributors Addendum to the ACPI 4.0 SIG Secretary. The contributing adopters agreement can be downloaded here:

Additionally, you must also be an ACPI 3.0 specification adopter to become an ACPI 4.0 contributing adopter. For more information on becoming and ACPI 3.0 specification adopter click here.
